| The Real-Time OSes M3T-MR308K/4
and M3T-MR308S/4
Revised to V.4.00 Release 02 |
We have revised the real-time OSes--M3T-MR308K/4 and M3T-MR308S/4--for the
M32C/80, M16C/80, and M16C/70 series of MCUs as follows:
- Real-time OS evaluation license: M3T-MR30K/4 V.4.00 Release 02
- Real-time OS mass-production license: M3T-MR30S/4 V.4.00 Release 02
1. Information on Revision
We have revised the M3T-MR308K/4 and M3T-MR308S/4 as follows:
The M3T-MR308K/4 (real-time OS evaluation license)
from V.4.00 Release 01 to V.4.00 Release 02
The M3T-MR308S/4 (real-time OS mass-production license)
from V.4.00 Release 01 to V.4.00 Release 02
So the users who are using any of the following previous versions are
encouraged to update them to their latest versions (see Section 2):
The M3T-MR308K/4 V.4.00 Release 00 and Release 01
The M3T-MR308S/4 V.4.00 Release 00 and Release 01
2. Descriptions of Revision
2.1 Functions Introduced
(1) Checking errors of the cfg308 configurator
- An error message is delivered to terminate the processing if any
non-kernel interrupt is defined and the configuration file
in which the value of the kernel interrupt mask level (system_IPL) is
set to 7 is dealt with.
- An option is introduced which delivers an error or warning message
if the kernel interrupt mask level (system_IPL) of the configuration file
in a system where no non-kernel interrupt is requested is set
to any value except 7.
(2) Checking errors of the GUI configurator
An error message is delivered if any non-kernel interrupt is
defined and the value of the kernel interrupt mask level (system_IPL) is
set to 7.

The M3T-MR308/4 is a product for special users. If you need the latest
version of Real-time OS with online, please contact your local Renesas
Technology sales office or distributor.
NOTICE:
These types of M3T-MR308K/4 and M3T-MR308S/4 does not work on
DVP-M2(S) and DVP-C3.
If you need the M3T-MR308K/4 or M3T-MR308S/4 which works on DVP-M2(S)
or DVP-C3, please contact your local Renesas Technology sales
office or distributor.
