| Notes on Using Flash Development Toolkit |
Please take note of the problems described below in using Flash Development
Toolkit. (This toolkit is used for writing programs into flash memories in
the SuperH RISC engine, M16C, H8SX, H8S, H8, and 740 families of MCUs.)
1. Product and Versions Concerned
Flash Development Toolkit V.3.05 through V.3.07
2. Descriptions
If the user system is equipped with the COM1 port and any COM1* ports
other than COM1 (for example, COM10, COM11, COM100, and so on; "*" means
the wild-card), COM1 cannot be selected in the "Select port" drop-down
list in the Communication Port dialog because COM1 is not provided in
the list.
And if the user system is equipped with the COM2 port and any COM2*
ports other than COM2 (for example, COM20, COM21, COM200, and so on; "*"
means the wild-card), COM2 cannot be selected in the "Select port"
drop-down list in the Communication Port dialog because COM2 is not
provided in the list.
3. Workaround
Delete COM1* and COM2*.
