• With updating the C/C++ compiler packages for the SuperH family, and the H8SX, H8S, and H8 families of MCUs

1. Description
   Even when you have updated a compiler package using AutoUpdate Utility, 
   the Updater of the compiler package may be detected by the utility.

2. Conditions
   This problem occurs in both the following cases:
   (1) The C/C++ compiler package for the SuperH family has been updated 
       from V.9.01 Release 00 to V.9.01 Release 01 using AutoUpdate 
       Utility. 
   (2) The C/C++ compiler package for the H8SX, H8S, and H8 families has 
       been updated from V.6.01 Release 03 to V.6.02 Release 00 using 
       AutoUpdate Utility.

3. Workaround
   If you encounter this problem, perform the following procedure to change 
   the settings of AutoUpdate Utility:
   (1) Invoke AutoUpdate Utility. The "Welcome to AutoUpdate Wizard" 
       window opens.
   (2) Click the Next button. The window for selecting applications 
       appears.
   (3) Uncheck the check boxes for the following products to be updated 
       in the Applications list:

         (1) Application name:
                  C/C++ compiler package for SuperH RISC engine family
             Version No.: 9.01.00
         (2) Application name:
                  C/C++ compiler package for the H8, H8S, and H8SX
             Version No.: 6.01.03

   (4) Click the Next button. The search window for updating information 
       appears.
   (5) Click Next to open The Finished window.
   (6) Click the Finish button.

4. Schedule of Fixing the Problem
   We plan to fix this problem in the next release of both products.
