A Note on Using High-performance Embedded Workshop (IDE)
--With Projects Created by Using the Makefile--


Please take note of the following problem in using High-performance Embedded Workshop:
  • With projects created by using the Makefile


1. Product and Versions Concerned
   High-performance Embedded Workshop V.4.01.00 through V.4.03.00

   High-performance Embedded Workshop is bundled with the compilers and 
   other software products that it manages.

   To check for the version number of your High-performance Embedded 
   Workshop, open the Help menu and select the About High-performance 
   Embedded Workshop command.

2. Problem
    Each time the debugger accesses any file to debug, the Open dialog 
    box may open, and the path of the file be asked in projects 
    created by using Makefile.

3. Condition
    This problem occurs if you are using any of the following debuggers:
    - M32C PC7501 emulator debugger
    - M32C PC4701 emulator debugger
    - M32C compact emulator debugger
    - M32C simulator debugger
    - M32C FoUSB/UART debugger
    - M16C R8C PC7501 emulator debugger
    - M16C PC4701 emulator debugger
    - M16C R8C compact emulator debugger
    - M16C R8C FoUSB/UART debugger
    - M16C R8C simulator debugger
    - 740 PC4701 emulator debugger
    - 740 compact emulator debugger
    - 740 simulator debugger
    - H8/300H Tiny compact emulator debugger

4. Solution
   This problem has been fixed in High-performance Embedded Workshop 
   V.4.04.00, which was released in this December 16.
