| The Emulator Software Product for the E200F Emulator
R0E0200F1EMU00 Revised to V.2.05 Release 00 |
We have revised the emulator software product for the E200F emulator
R0E0200F1EMU00 from V.2.04 Release 00 to V.2.05 Release 00.
The emulator and software product emulate systems designed with SH-2
and SH2A CPU-cored MCUs, belonging to the SuperH RISC engine family.
1. Descriptions of Revision
1.1 The following devices have been added to the support line:
MCU Series Devices

SH7280 Devices in SH7286 group
SH7137 Devices in SH7136 and SH7137 groups
SH7147 SH7142 devices (R5F71424xxxxxxx), SH7147 group
1.2 The following problem, encountered in the SH7206 device, has been fixed:
When the external bus trace unit is connected with the evaluation chip
unit, the signal levels of buses obtained as Strobe_signals for external
bus tracing are incorrectly displayed as follows, as well as bus names:
- The name and signal level of /RASU and those of /RASL are swapped.
- The name and signal level of /CASU and those of /CASL are swapped.
If the external trace bus unit is not connected with the evaluation
chip unit, this problem does not occur.
2. How to Update Your Product
Free-of-charge online update is available. Use AutoUpdate Utility;
otherwise use the following procedure:
(1) Download the update program of the product (a ZIP file) from
the Web site at
http://www.renesas.com/e200f_download
This site will be opened from February 5 on.
(2) Decompress the downloaded ZIP file to obtain the installer program
HewInstMan.exe and execute it.
3. Notice
If the installer program is executed in the system where
High-performance Embedded Workshop V.4.02.00 or earlier resides,
it will be upgraded to V.4.03.00.
