| Flash Development Toolkit Revised to
V.4.01 Release 01 |
We have revised Flash Development Toolkit from V.4.01 Release 00 to
V.4.01 Release 01. This tool kit is used for programming flash memory of
the MCUs in the SuperH RISC engine, M16C, H8SX, H8S, H8, and 740 families.
1. Descriptions of Revision
1.1 Supported MCUs Increased
The following MCUs have been added to the support line:
(1) In the H8SX family
H8SX/1725F
(2) In the H8S family
H8S/2112F, H8S/2153F, H8S/2164F, H8S/2462F, and H8S/2472F
(3) In the H8 family
H8/36022F, H8/36092F, H8/38502F, H8/38504F,
H8/38522F, H8/38524F, H8/38534F, and H8/38537F
The MCUs in (1), (2), and (3) above are programmable via the
RS-232C port, the HS0008EAUF1H board (an on-board programming
adaptor board for flash MCUs), or the E8a emulator.
(4) In the M16C family
R5F3640M (M16C/64 group, M16C/60 series)
This is programmable via the RS-232C port or the E8a emulator.
R5F21286 and R5F21296 (R8C/Tiny series)
These are programmable via the E8a emulator.
1.2 Supported Interfaces Increased
(1) The E8a emulator can be used for programming the following MCUs
as well as RS-232C and HS0008EAUF1H:
H8S/2265F and H8S/2266F (H8S family)
H8/36012F, H8/38327F, H8/38347F, H8/38427F,
and H8/38447F (H8 family)
(2) The RS-232C port can be used for programming the following MCUs
as well as the E8a and E8 emulators:
R5F212A7, R5F212A8, R5F212B7, R5F212B8, R5F212C7, R5F212C8,
R5F212D7, and R5F212D8 (R8C/Tiny series, M16C family)
2. How to Update Your Product
Free-of-charge online update is available. Download the installer of
the latest program from the Web site at
http://www.renesas.com/fdt_download
and execute it. This site will be opened from April 7 on.
