1. Policy of compatibility to Windows Vista
   - Allow to use software development tools with standard privilege.
   - Improve the function which doesn't work on Windows Vista although 
     it works Windows XP SP2.
   - We will revise the tools when the function that operates in Windows 
     XP SP2 doesn't operate in Windows Vista.
   - Apply digital certification to the installer
   However, the compatibility level might differ from each product.
   Please refer to the release note of each product.

2. Note on using a product compatible
    to Windows Vista
   Here is the explanation for possibility points to misunderstand.
   - All installers need the administrator privilege.
     It is same for the updaters released from Renesas web site.
   - We will make the products compatible to Windows Vista by each 
     software. 
   Even if you update your existing environment by updater of Integrated 
   Development Environment: High-performance Embedded Workshop compatible 
   to Windows Vista, the product is not updated to compatibility 
   version. And more, as the system of High-performance Embedded Workshop 
   is installed into High-performance Embedded Workshop system folder, you 
   can not use the products with standard privilege until you will update 
   all products by the updaters compatible to Windows Vista.
   Please use the products with administrator privilege until the product
   updaters will be released.

3. Product to be Windows Vista compatible
    and its release schedule
   The products and release schedule are as follows.
   The schedule may change so please contact us before buying the product.
   The products that don't exist in the following list are products that 
   move to the maintenance phase or products under planning. 
   For the products we will inform you in web site in future.
