1. Products and Versions Concerned
   The following licensed tools for adding device groups to E10A-USB 
   emulators' support lines are concerned. They can only be used for 
   the E10A-USB emulators HS0005KCU01H and HS0005KCU02H.

   (1) Licensed tool for the SH-4A device group:
         HS7780KCU01SR V.2.00 Release 00 and V.3.00 Release 00
   (2) Licensed tool for the SH-4 device group:
         HS7751KCU01SR V.2.00 Release 00 and V.3.00 Release 00
   (3) Licensed tool for the SH-3 device group:
         HS7729KCU01SR V.2.00 Release 00 and V.3.00 Release 00
   (4) Licensed tool for the SH-2A device group:
         HS7206KCU01SR V.2.00 Release 00 and V.3.00 Release 00
   (5) Licensed tool for the SH-2 device group:
         HS7047KCU01SR V.2.00 Release 00 and V.3.00 Release 00
   (6) Licensed tool for the SH-Mobile device group:
         HS7290KCU01SR V.2.00 Release 00 and V.3.00 Release 00
   (7) Licensed tool for the New_SH-Mobile device group:
         HS7318KCU01SR V.2.00 Release 00 and V.3.00 Release 00
   (8) Licensed tool for the H8S device group:

   (9) Licensed tool for the H8SX device group:

2. Description
   If any of the above license tools is installed to the host computer, 
   the association of High-performance Embedded Workshop with workspace 
   files (.hws files) is lost. So double-clicking the name of any workspace 
   file will not invoke High-performance Embedded Workshop.

3. Solution
   Download the update program to High-performance Embedded Workshop 
   V.4.04.01 (the latest version) from the Web site shown below and 
   reinstall the latest version of the High-performance Embedded Workshop 
   (See NOTE.)

      NOTE:
       The following two types of update program are available. Use either 
       of them:
         (a) Full-update program
         (b) Differential-update program

    Or, use AutoUpdate Utility to update yours.

    After the solution above has been executed, the problem occurs again 
    when any of the product concerned is installed.
