| EMV-Level1-Compliant Smart Card Software V.1.00

Two products of EMV-Level1-compliant smart card interface software have
been published for the H8SX and H8S MCU families. These software products
allow you to easily receive EMV certification and much shorten development
times for new applications.
As of June 1, 2009, the products support the above MCU families only, but
we are going to increase supported MCUs successively.
1. Outline of the Products
By using the software products, EMV-Level1-compliant smart card
interfaces can be embedded in all the systems designed with MCUs of the
H8SX and H8S families.
They are used in combination with the following compiler package:
- C/C++ compiler package for the H8SX, H8S and H8 families
V.6.02 Release 01 or later
2. Functionality
The functionality of the products are as follows:
(1) To perform the operations specified by the EMV standard for
test-case numbers
(2) To communicate with the smart card by using the SCI embedded in
any MCU of the H8SX and H8S families
(3) To support the user's API so that you can easily incorporate
high-end applications in your systems.
