The High-performance Embedded Workshop was updated to Ver.3.0.02 on December 15, 2003. Descriptions and how to update are shown below.

• Problem Fixed
  • Problem fixed at termination
    We have fixed the problem that the IDE did not quit normally.

The installer of the update program (hewv3002u.exe) released on November 20 had the following restrictions.
Therefore, we have fixed the problems and updated the program (hewv3002u2.exe) for the Ver.3.0.02 on December 15. Because we revised the installer only and the IDE is not modified, the version number is the same as the previous one.

And, if you have successfully installed the update program (hewv3002u.exe) released on November 20,
you do not need download the new update program (hewv3002u2.exe) released on December 15.

1. In the following cases, you cannot update the Ver.3.0.02.
   • Updated from Ver.1.0.00 to Ver.2.0.02
   • Updated from Ver.1.0.00 to Ver.2.0.02 (via Ver.2.0.01)
2. With the following products, you cannot update the Ver.3.0.02.
   • Professional version and Free version
     of C compiler M3T-NC30WA for the M16C/60, M16C/30, M16C/Tiny, M16C/20, M16C/10, R8C/Tiny Series
