CC32R V.2.10 Release 1
Upgraded Version Announcement

This is to announce that cross-tool kit CC32R for the M32R family of microcomputers has been upgraded from its V.2.00 Release 1 to V.2.10 Release 1.

Descriptions of Upgrade
- 1.1 Function introduced
- An option of "-warn_suppress_code_data" has been introduced to suppress the display of warning message "warning:caution!there are some data in code section". This message appears when data is placed in a code section.
- 1.2 Known problems fixed
- The following known problems have been fixed:
- (1) Changing output directories of an object etc. results in link errors when TM (Integrated Development Environment) is used.
- For details refer to "CC32R V.2.00 Release 1 Precaution" issued on September 16, 1999.
- (2) When compiling C-language source files, codes that compare incorrect bit positions are generated so that wrong conditional branches may occur.
- For details refer to "CC32R Precaution" issued on October 16, 1999.
- (3) When executing switch statements in C-language source files, incorrect case labels may be selected.
- For details refer to "CC32R Precaution" issued on December 16, 1999.

How To Upgrade CC32R
Upgrading procedure varies according to the version of your product.
- 2.1 For the customer who has their license ID (Using CC32R V.1.00 Release 4 or later)
- (1) Please download the upgraded product without charge from HERE.
- (2) Upgrade by CD-ROM with additional charge
- When ordering, be sure to enter "-VUP" in the Comment column. The license ID is not needed to enter.
- Example: W95E-VUP
- 2.2 For the customer who has their Serial No. (Using CC32R V.1.00 Release 3 or earlier)
- (1) Obtaining a license ID (without charge)
- Fill in the appended "Free-of-Charge CC32R License ID Application Form" and send it to your local Renesas Technology sales office or distributor by E-mail. We will inform you of your license ID by return.
- Then, download the upgraded product by using it from HERE.
- Note that your newly obtained license ID is not a temporary one for this online upgrade.
- (2) Upgrade by CD-ROM with additional charge
- When ordering, be sure to enter "-VUP" and your Serial No. in the Comment column.
- Example: W95E-VUP-Serial No.

- * The upgrade is available only to customers who have sent their customer registration card to us by mail or fax.
- * Since the publication of the IBE version has been discontinued from V.1.00 Release 4, please upgrade your product to the W95E version, if necessary.
- * After this upgrade our support for the product will be provided on your license ID, not your Serial No.
- 2.3 First ordering or upgrade by CD-ROM
