- Problem
- In some of the M34514T-MCU boards, the following faults of the labels on the SW8 switch will be found:
- (1) No labels are placed on switch SW8.
- (2) The "513" label of SW8 (for the 4513 group) is placed at the position of the "514" label of SW8 (for the 4514 group), and vice versa.

- If M34514T-MCU Used with No Labels:
If these symptoms appear, set the MCU board correctly for the desired MCU group in accordance with M34514T-MCU User's Manual.
- If M34514T-MCU Used with Labels Placed at Opposite Positions:
The 4513 group may be selected for the 4514 group and vice versa. In this case the following symptoms appear:
(1) In the case where "513" (for the 4513 group) is selected by SW8 for the 4514 group
Since the M34514E8FP is mounted on the M34514T-MCU board as the evaluation MCU, programs can be executed properly. However, the MCU file for the 4513 group is automatically selected at launching PD45, so that error messages are displayed when instructions specific to the 4514 group are inputted with assemble commands. Also instructions specific to the 4514 group are not displayed with commands for disassemble displays.
Example: A question mark "?" is displayed as a result of executing a command for program display or real-time trace, for example.
(2) In the case where "514" (for the 4514 group) is selected by SW8 for the 4513 group
Since the MCU specifications of the 4514 group include those of the 4513 group, no problems occur except for the limitations imposed on the M34514T-MCU board. However, the MCU file for the 4514 group is automatically selected at launching PD45, so that error messages are not displayed when instructions specific to the 4514 group are inputted with assemble commands.
