Please take note of the following problem in using emulator debugger PD32R for the M32R family of microcomputers:
- On downloading target programs to external flash memory by using FDD (flash device definition) files included with PD32R
- Versions Concerned
PD32R V.2.00 Release 1 -- V.2.00 Release 2
- Description
When the target program is downloaded to external flash memory by using a specific FDD file, only half of the memory space are available.
- Conditions
This problem occurs if either of the following two FDD files is selected:
- MBM29DL32XTE.FDD included with PD32R V.2.00
- MBM29DL32XBE.FDD included with PD32R V.2.00
- Workaround
- Use the modified MBM29DL32XTE.FDD or MBM29DL32XBE.FDD file.
