A Note on MCU Board M34524T-MCU
|
Please take note of the following problem in using MCU board M34524T-MCU for the 4500 series'4524 and 4554 group MCUs:
- On using the MCU board in low-speed mode
- Product Concerned
M34524T-MCU
- Description
- --This problem is a limitation imposed on emulator system--
- While M34524T-MCU is operating in low-speed mode driven by the sub-clock f(Xcin), setting main clock oscillation circuit control bit (MR1) to 1 to stop the main clock f(Xin) results in incorrect operation.
- Note:
Transition from low-speed mode to clock operating mode and return from low-speed mode to ram back-up mode do not arise any problems.
- Workaround
Do not stop the main clock while the board is operating in low-speed mode.
(Make sure that the main clock oscillation circuit control bit (MR1) is cleared to 0 at any time.)
If you need to stop the main clock during low-speed mode, evaluate the system operation using an OTP-version MCU.
