- Description
- Customizing kit PDxxSIM I/O DLL KIT for simulator debugger M3T-PDxxSIM facilitates the creation of I/O DLLs*. M3T-PDxxSIM can operate PDxxSIM I/O DLL KIT loaded in it synchronized with timing of single-step execution, reads from/writes to memory, interrupt requests, and so on.

To create I/O DLLs, you need to use a commercially available Windows' application development tool--Microsoft Visual C++.

- Simulator Debuggers Supporting PDxxSIM I/O DLL KIT
The following version and later of the simulator debuggers support PDxxSIM I/O DLL KIT:
- M32C/80 and M16C/80 series of MCUs
- M3T-PD308SIM V.3.00 Release 2
- M16C/60, M16C/30, M16C/20, and M16C/10 series of MCUs
- M3T-PD30SIM V.5.00 Release 1
- Examples of Major Uses
- You can simulate the I/O ports or the operations of on-chip peripheral functions of the target MCU to verify your program execution.
- By calling the interface with Microsoft Excel from the kit, you can read the input data to a port from files in Excel or write the output data from a port into files in Excel to analyze the results of the output.
