Cross-Tool Kit M3T-CC32R Upgraded to V.4.00 Release 1
|
We have upgraded cross-tool kit M3T-CC32R for the M32R family of MCUs from V.3.20 Release 1 to V.4.00 Release 1.
- Descriptions of Upgrade
- 1.1 New Features and a Function Added
| (1) |
Global optimization (effective at using options in which -O4 is included) enhanced. |
| (2) |
Supports extended instructions (such as an FPU instruction) used in the M32R-FPU core (adopted by the M32180 and M32182 MCUs of the M32R/ECU series).
As a result, codes containing extended instructions of the M32R-FPU core can be created by the compiler, and assembly-language programs also containing them can be described by the assembler. |
| (3) |
Supports the inline expansion of C-language functions. |
| (4) |
An option used for creating codes from switch statements added. |
- 1.2 Problems Fixed
- The following known problems have been fixed:
| (1) | On local arrays referenced incorrectly
For details, see MESC TOOL NEWS "CC32R Precaution" issued on October 1, 1998. |
| (2) | On programs handling members of a structure in a loop
For details, see MESC TOOL NEWS "CC32R Precaution" issued on December 16, 1999. |
| (3) | On optimization at using uninitialized pointers |
| (4) | On optimization at accessing a volatile area several times successively
For details of (3) and (4), see MAEC TOOL NEWS "CC32R Precaution" issued on August 16, 2001. |
| (5) | On optimization at accessing an area declared to be both const and volatile two or more times successively
For details, see MAEC TOOL NEWS "CC32R Precaution" issued on September 16, 2001. |
| (6) | On programs using a loop statement that includes a conditional construct in which two array elements are referred to by the subscript of the same variable
For details, see MAEC TOOL NEWS "A Note on Cross-Tool Kit M3T-CC32R" issued on May 16, 2002. |
| (7) | On programs containing a remainder operator (%) or remainder assignment operator (%=) with a divisor of 0x80000000 or -0x80000000
For details, see MAEC TOOL NEWS "A Note on Cross-Tool Kit M3T-CC32R" issued on July 16, 2002. |
