A Note on Emulator Debugger M3T-PD32R

Please take note of the following problem in using emulator debugger M3T-PD32R for the M32R family of MCUs:
- On debugging functions in the external and extended external areas
- Versions Concerned
M3T-PD32R V.1.00 Release 1 -- V.3.00 Release 1
- Description
The following debugging functions may not properly be performed in the external and extended external areas:
(1) Storing target program to memory after downloading
(2) Rewriting memory
- Conditions
- This problem occurs if the following three conditions are satisfied:
- (1) The target MCU belongs to any of the following MCU groups:
- the 32120 and 32121 groups
- the 32170, 32171, 32172, 32173, and 32174 groups
- the 32180 and 32182 groups
- (2) The chip operation mode of the target MCU is either of the following:
- (3) The external or extended external area concerned overlaps with the internal ROM area, as denoted by A in the memory map below.
