A Note on Debuggers
M3T-PD32RSIM and M3T-PD32R

Please take note of the following problem in using simulator debugger M3T-PD32RSIM and emulator debugger M3T-PD32R for the M32R Family MCUs:
- On downloading target programs
- Products and Versions Concerned
M3T-PD32RSIM V.1.00 Release 1--V.1.10 Release 1
M3T-PD32R V.1.00 Release 1--V.3.00 Release 1
- Description
When SYSROF-formatted files are downloaded, the program may go into an infinite loop, causing the products concerned not to respond.
- 2.1 Conditions
- This problem occurs if the following two conditions are satisfied:
- (1) Cross-tool kit M3T-CC32R is used together.
- (2) In the program exists an object module containing 257 or more section names that are different from each other.
- Workaround
Prohibit any object module from containing 257 or more different section names.
- Schedule of Fixing the Problem
We plan to fix this problem in our next release of the products concerned.
