Emulator Debuggers
M3T-PD308F, M3T-PD30F, M3T-PD308,
and M3T-PD30 Upgraded

We have upgraded emulator debuggers. The upgraded products and their versions are as follows:
Emulator debuggers used with the PC7501 emulator:
* M3T-PD308F V.3.00 Release 1 for the M32C/80 and M16C/70 series MCUs
* M3T-PD30F V.2.00 Release 1 for the M16C/60 and M16C/20 series MCUs
Emulator debuggers used with the PC4701 emulator:
* M3T-PD308 V.5.00 Release 1 for the M32C/80 and M16C/80 series MCUs
* M3T-PD30 V.8.00 Release 1 for the M16C/60, M16C/30, M16C/20, and M16C/10 series MCUs
- Descriptions of Upgrade
- 1.1 Improvements Introduced
- To all the products:
| (1) | Providing the functions of splitting a window vertically, editing text in place, and highlighting modified data in the Memory, RAM Monitor, ASM Watch, and C Watch windows. |
| (2) | Capable of back scroll in DIS mode in the Program and Source windows. |
- To the M3T-PD308F and M3T-PD30F only:
| (1) | Providing the RAM Monitor Area Setting window for adding, deleting, and changing RAM monitoring areas. |
- To M3T-PD30F and M3T-PD30 only:
| (1) | Supporting C++ debugging functions when IAR Systems' EWM16C C compiler is used. |
- To the M3T-PD308F only:
| (1) | Supporting the M32C/80, 84, and 85 group MCUs; and the M16C/70 group MCUs coming with 772-KB ROM. |
- 1.2 Problems Fixed
- The following known problems have been fixed:
| (1) | On designating an interrupt generation as an event at setting a hardware breakpoint or trace point (in the M3T-PD308F only):
When an interrupt generation is designated as an event in the Hardware Breakpoint Setting or Trace Point Setting window, the specified hardware breakpoint or trace point cannot perform its function.

| (2) | On downloading ELF/DWARF2.0-formated object files (in the M3T-PD308F and M3T-PD308 only):
When the symbol information of ELF/DWARF2.0-formated object files created by the EWM32C C/C++ compiler is being downloaded, the compiler may be terminated abnormally.

| (3) | On using the MR STK command (in the M3T-PD308F and M3T-PD30F only):
Measuring a task's stack usage by using the "MR STK, SYS" or "MR STK, TSK" command brings an incorrect result. |
| (4) | On using the Coverage window, the CV FUNC, and the CV TOTAL command (in the M3T-PD308F and M3T-PD30F only):
Coverage measurement results may incorrectly be displayed when the Coverage window, the CV FUNC, and the CV TOTAL command are used.

| (5) | On using the MR trace window (in the M3T-PD30F only):
When the MR trace window is opened to display the execution history of a task, the error message saying "The interrupt handler has issued a system call that can only be issued from tasks." may appear, resulting in the incorrect execution history being displayed.
