Free-of-Charge Upgrade of Emulation Pod M3062PT3-RPD (TS Product)
Dedicated to the M16C/62P in the M16C/62 Group of the M16C/60 Series MCUs

We inform you of the free-of-charge upgrade of the M3062PT3-RPD emulation pod (the TS product) dedicated to the M16C/62P in the M16C/62 group of the M16C/60 Series MCUs. This emulation pod is used in combination with the PC4701 emulator.

- Description of Upgrade
Your pod will be upgraded without charge to the one with the same specifications as the mass production pods. The specifications to be upgraded are as follows:
- (1) Operating voltages and frequencies
- 16.0 MHz maximum at 3.2--5.5 V
(The TS product operates at 5.0 volt or 3.3 volt only.)
- (2) Operating modes
- Single-chip, memory-expansion, and microprocessor modes supported.
(There are the TS products which operate in the single-chip mode only.)
- (3) Output voltages of ports P0 through P5
- At VCC2 is 5.0 volts, the output voltages of ports P0 through P5 are the same as the actual MCU.
(At VCC2 is 5.0 volts, those of the TS product is 5.6 volts or 3.8 volts maximum.)

- How to Upgrade Your Product
- Effective Date of Application
From August 1, 2003, to July 31, 2004, inclusive
(If circumstances prevent you from sending your application form and product within the above date, please contact your local Renesas Technology sales office or distributor.)
- Shipment of the Upgraded Product
We will ship back your product upon upgrading and checking it.
It will take 10 working days or more to upgrade your product (except for the transportation period).
- Notices
(1) If your pod does not work properly, a charge will be made for repairing it.
(2) We will not be able to supply you with another pod for the period of time of upgrade.
