Simulator Debuggers
M3T-PD32RSIM, M3T-PD308SIM, and M3T-PD30SIM
Upgraded

We have upgraded the following simulator debuggers:
  • M3T-PD32RSIM for the M32R family to V.2.10 Release 1
  • M3T-PD308SIM for the M32C/80 and M16C/80 series to V.3.20 Release 1
  • M3T-PD30SIM for the M16C/60, M16C/30, M16C/Tiny, M16C/20, M16C/10, and
    R8C/Tiny series to V.5.20 Release 1

  1. Descriptions of Upgrade
    1.1  Functions Introduced
    (1) Opening source files that are already open in the Program and Source windows also in the High-performance Embedded Workshop integrated development environment.This feature enables you to modify code under debugging in the M3T-PDxxSIM and directly make Build by using the High-performance Embedded Workshop.
    (In the case where the M3T-PDxxSIM is launched as the separate debugger of the High-performance Embedded Workshop.)
    (2) Supporting the R8C/Tiny series MCUs (M3T-PD30SIM only)

    1.2  Specification Modified
    (1) According to the modification of the number of cycles in the MOV.size:S src, R1L/R1 instruction in each software manual of the M32C/80 and M16C/80 series MCUs, the number of cycles used in the M3T-PD308SIM has been modified.
    For latest information on the number of cycles, see the latest Software Manuals of the microcomputers.

    1.3  Problems Fixed
    The following known problems have been fixed:
    (1) On results of comparisons by the FCMP or FCMPE instruction (only in the M3T-PD32RSIM): Comparisons using the FCMP or FCMPE instruction may yield incorrect results.

    (2) On referencing a member of a struct or union (only in the M3T-PD32RSIM): A member of a struct or union may not correctly be referenced.
