A Note on Using Simulator Debuggers
M3T-PD32RSIM, M3T-PD308SIM, and M3T-PD30SIM

Please take note of the following problem in using the M3T-PD32RSIM,
M3T-PD308SIM, and M3T-PD30SIM simulator debuggers:
- On using the personal computer based on the HT Technology Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processor
- Products and Versions Concerned
M3T-PD32RSIM V.2.00 Release 1 and V.2.00 Release 1A
for the M32R family
M3T-PD308SIM V.3.00 Release 1 through V.3.10 Release 1
for the M32C/80 and M16C/80 series
M3T-PD30SIM V.5.00 Release 1 and V.5.10 Release 1
for the M16C/60, M16C/30, M16C/Tiny, M16C/20, M16C/10, and R8C/Tiny series
- Description
When any of the above debuggers is used on a PC based on the HT Technology Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processor,
the debugger may freeze (that is, it may not respond to any input operation).
If your debugger happens to freeze, invoke the task manager by pressing the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys to close the pdxxsim.exe and simxx.exe files.
- Workaround
This problem has already been fixed in the following products, so please use any of them:
M3T-PD32RSIM V.2.10 Release 1 and later
M3T-PD308SIM V.3.20 Release 1 and later
M3T-PD30SIM V.5.20 Release 1 and later
