A Note on Using Emulator Debuggers
M3T-PD308F and M3T-PD30F

Please take note of the following problem in using the M3T-PD308F and M3T-PD30F emulator debuggers used in combination with the PC7501 system:
- On using the MR Trace and MR Analyze windows
- Products and Versions Concerned
M3T-PD308F V.3.20 Release 1
for the M32C/80 series MCUs
M3T-PD30F V.1.00 Release 1 through V.2.20 Release 1
for the M16C/60 and M16C/Tiny series MCUs
- Description
When a program with a relocatable vector table allocated to an odd address is executed,
the history of issues of system calls does not appear in the MR Trace and the MR Analyze window as well as incorrect
measurement results displayed regarding other items of information.
- Workaround
When using the MR Trace and MR Analyze windows, allocate the variable vector table to an even address.
- Schedule of Fixing the Problem
We plan to fix this problem in our next release of the products.
