A Note on Using
Integrated Development Environment High-performance Embedded Workshop
--On Using SQMlint Options--

Please take note of the following problem in using the High-performance Embedded Workshop, an integrated
development environment:
- On using SQMlint options in the MISRA C rule checker
- Products Concerned
The High-performance Embedded Workshop included with the following product:
M3T-CC32R V.4.30 Release 00 (C compiler package for the M32R family)
- Description
If the High-performance Embedded Workshop is used in combination with the SQMlint, the following
problem arises:
In the High-performance Embedded Workshop, open the Options menu and select the Renesas M32R Standard
Toolchain command. You see the Renesas M32R Standard Toolchain dialog
box. However, the list of the SQMlint options is not provided in this
dialog box.
- Workaround
Select any SQMlint option as follows:
| (1) | Open the Options menu and select Renesas M32R Standard Toolchain. The Renesas M32R Standard Toolchain dialog box appears. |
| (2) | Click the C tab in this dialog box. |
| (3) | Then select Other in the Category list. The User defines options text box appears. |
| (4) | Type the SQMlint option you want in this text box. |
| (5) | Click the OK button. |
- Schedule of Fixing the Problem
In our next release of the M3T-CC32R C compiler package, we plan to
include the problem-fixed High-performance Embedded Workshop in it.
