the High-performance Embedded Workshop

--On Using the Network Facilities--

Please take note of the following problem in using High-performance Embedded Workshop (integrated development environment):
  • On Using the network facilities

  1. Versions Concerned
    The High-performance Embedded Workshops
    V.3.01.04.001, V.3.01.05.001, V.3.01.06.001, and V.3.01.08.000

To check for the version number of your High-performance Embedded Workshop, open the Help menu and select the version of High-performance Embedded Workshop command.

  2. Description
The High-performance Embedded Workshop is provided with the network facilities for sharing workspaces and projects between large numbers of users through a network, and this network facilities grant the access right to files to every user.
When the network facilities are used, however, workspaces may not be saved. If so, the message "Project file 'file.hwp', is invalid, cannot open project" is displayed, and you cannot establish the connection to the server and open any shared workspace.

  3. Workaround
    Don't use the network facilities.

  4. Schedule of Fixing the Problem
We plan to fix this problem in our next release of the product.
