A Note on Using
the High-performance Embedded Workshop
--On the Auto-backup Facilities of Workspaces--

Please take note of the following problem in using the High-performance
Embedded Workshop, an integrated development environment:
- On the auto-backup facilities of workspaces
- Versions Concerned
The High-performance Embedded Workshop V.3.01.XX and 4.00.00
To check for the version number of your High-performance Embedded Workshop,
open the Help menu and select the Version of High-performance Embedded Workshop command.
- Description
The auto-backup facilities of workspaces* does not operate properly.
So such items of information on addition and deletion of source files
and selection of tool-chain options will not be updated every specified
intervals of time.
When the High-performance Embedded Workshop is closed, in addition,
the message asking whether to save the workspace does not appear, and
no information on changes made to workspaces is saved on the workspace file.
- Workaround
Invalidate the auto-backup facilities of workspaces at launching
the High-performance Embedded Workshop. When changes are made to a workspace,
save information on the changes to the workspace file by opening the File menu and selecting the Save Workspace command.
- Schedule of Fixing the Problem
We plan to fix this problem in our next release of the product.
