A Note on Using the Update Program for Updating
the High-performance Embedded Workshop to V.4.00.00
|
Please take note of the following problem in using the update program for
updating the High-performance Embedded Workshop, an integrated development
environment, to V.4.00.00:
- On applying the update program to the combination of the C/C++ compiler package for the SuperH RISC engine family and the one for the H8SX, H8S, and H8 families
- Product Concerned
The update program for updating the High-performance Embedded Workshop
to V.4.00.00 only when used in combination of the following packages:
- C/C++ compiler package for the SuperH RISC engine family (hereafter called SH C)
- C/C++ compiler package for the H8SX, H8S, and H8 families (hereafter called H8 C)
- Description
When the version of the tool chain that have created workspaces for
the SH C is changed to another, the H8 C's tool chain can be selected
though it is usually unselectable. If the H8 C's selected, build phases
for the SH C and information on tool chains will be lost.
- Workaround
Don't change the tool chain for the SH C to the one for the H8 C.
- Schedule of Fixing the Problem
We plan to fix this problem in the High-performance Embedded Workshop
included with our next release of the H8 C compiler package.
