--On Using the Navigation Window--
|
Please take note of the following problem in using the High-performance
Embedded Workshop V.4.00.00, an integrated development environment:
- On using the Navigation window
- Versions Concerned
High-performance Embedded Workshop V.4.00.00
To check for the version number of your High-performance Embedded,
Workshop open the Help menu and select the About High-performance
Embedded Workshop command.
- Description
If a workspace created by the High-performance Embedded Workshop V.3
or earlier is opened by its V.4.00.00 and then the category to scan (*1)
is switched to another in the Select Categories dialog box (*2) of the
Navigation window (*3), the High-performance Embedded Workshop
terminates abnormally.
NOTES:
| *1. | The following three types exist in the categories to scan:
C Defines C Functions C++ Classes |
| *2. | This dialog box appears by selecting the Select Categories command
in the pop-up menu opened by right-clicking an unoccupied portion
of the Navigation window. |
| *3. | Clicking the Navigation tab in the Workspace window opens the Navigation window. |
- Workaround
Switch between categories to scan with the workspace being closed*.
If this operation has once been performed, you are able to switch
between categories to scan while the workspace is opened.
| *: |
In order not to open the workspace, select Cancel in the Welcome!
dialog box that appears immediately after invoking the High-
performance Embedded Workshop.
If the workspace is already opened, open the File menu and select
the Close Workspace command to close it. |
- Schedule of Fixing the Problem
We plan to fix this problem in the next release of the product.
