RENESAS TOOL NEWS on May 1, 2005: RSO-M3062PT2-EPB-050501D
| Emulation Probe M3062PT2-EPB Released |
We are releasing the M3062PT2-EPB emulation probe on this May 16. This probe is used for emulating the M16C/62P group of MCUs.
- Outline
The M3062PT2-EPB, connected with the PC7501 emulator, is used for
emulating the M16C/62P group of MCUs and debugging their programs.
It operates under the following conditions:
- Supply voltage to target: 3.0--5.5 V
- Operating clock frequencies: 24 MHz maximum, or
- Supply voltage to target: 2.7 V
- Operating clock frequencies: 10 MHz maximum
The M3062PT2-EPB is the successor of the M3062PT-EPB and is provided with
a larger size of on-chip evaluation ROM than the predecessor. So it can
debug programs of the MCUs having up to 512 KB of internal ROM.
The difference between them in evaluation ROM is as follows:
| | M3062PT2-EPB | M3062PT-EPB |
| On-chip evaluation ROM | 512 KB + 4 KB | 384 KB + 4 KB |
For further information on the product, see its datasheet.
