A Note on Using
the E8 Emulator Software V.2.01 Release 00 |
Please take note of the following problem in using the emulator software for the E8 on-chip debugging emulator:
- On loading user programs onto the emulator
- Description
Consider the case where the M16C/Tiny, M16C/62P E8 emulator debugger V.1.00.00, which is included in the E8 emulator software V.2.01 Release 00, is used for debugging user programs.
If a user program is loaded onto the emulator, an error may arise depending on target MCUs.
- Condition
This problem occurs if any program written in the ROM area from FE000h to FEFFFh is loaded onto the emulator with any of the following MCUs being targeted for debugging:
M30280FA, M30281FA, M30290FA, M30290FC, M30291FA, and M30291FC
- Solution
This problem has already been resolved in the E8 emulator software V.2.02 Release 00. So please download this from HERE and update yours to it.
