DeviceUpdater for the SuperH RISC Engine;
and H8SX, H8S, and H8 Families Revised to V.1.05 Release 00 |
We have revised the DeviceUpdater from V.1.04 to V.1.05 Release 00.
The DeviceUpdater is a tool for updating project files created by the
High-performance Embedded Workshop.
- Product Concerned
DeviceUpdater for the SuperH RISC engine; and H8SX, H8S, and H8
families, which updates project files created by the High-performance
Embedded Workshops included with the following compiler packages:
C/C++ compiler packages V.7, V.8, and V.9 for the SuperH RISC engine family (for Windows)
C/C++ compiler packages V.5 and V.6 for the H8SX, H8S, and H8 families (for Windows)
- Descriptions of Revision

The following MCUs have been added to the line supported by the product:
- SH7147F, SH7083F, SH7084F, SH7085F, and SH7086F MCUs,
SH-2 core, SuperH RISC engine family
- H8S/2189 and H8S/2239 group, H8S/2000 series, and
H8S/2634 and H8S/2635 group, H8S/2600 series, H8SX, H8S, and H8
families

The capability of resolving the following problem incorporated:
Consider the case where new projects are created using the C/C++
compiler package for the H8SX, H8S, and H8 families V.6.01 (for
Windows). If compiler option -indirect is used at compiling the
reset program "resetprg.c", which has been generated automatically,
compile errors (Nos. C2190 and C2240) will arise.
