C-Compiler Package M3T-ICC740
Revised to V.1.01 Release 00 |
We have revised the M3T-ICC740 C-compiler package from V.1.00 Release 1B to V.1.01 Release 00. (The M3T-ICC740 compiles C-source programs for the 740 family of MCUs.)
- Description of Revision
The following problem has been fixed:
Problem:
A structure assignment, variable2 = variable1 via an array with pointers to struct's, went wrong.
Example:
*(structPtr->ptr) = variable;

- When you are using an earlier version, free-of-charge revision is available. Download the revised product from HERE.

- On Sale of the ICC740 C-Compiler Manufactured by IAR Systems AB
IAR Systems AB has discontinued the sale of the IAR Embedded Workbench--EW740--which is used for the 740 family of MCUs. Since the EW740 includes the ICC740 C-compiler, this compiler will hereafter be soled only by Renesas Technology Corp. *
* The ICC740 C-compiler is included with Renesas's M3T-ICC740 C-compiler package.
Accordingly, be aware of the following two items concerning to the M3T-ICC740:

Permanent key
If you wanted to use the M3T-ICC740 after a month from the date of installation, you needed to install the permanent key issued by IAR Systems AB. Now you need not use this key.

Sales territory
Sale of the product, which was previously restricted within Japan, China, Taiwan region, and Korea, has been extended over the whole world. |
