The DeviceUpdater
for the SuperH RISC engine, H8SX, H8S,
and H8 Families Revised to V.1.06 Release 00 |
We have revised the DeviceUpdater for the SuperH RISC engine, H8SX, H8S, and H8 families of MCUs from V.1.05 to V.1.06 Release 00. The DeviceUpdater updates the project files created by the High-performance Embedded Workshop, an integrated development environment.

The DeviceUpdater updates the project files created by the High-performance Embedded Workshops bundled with the following compiler packages:
- C/C++ compiler package V.7 (for Windows),
C/C++ compiler package V.8 (for Windows), and
C/C++ compiler package V.9 (for Windows)
(for the SuperH RISC engine family)
- C/C++ compiler package V.5 (for Windows) and
C/C++ compiler package V.6 (for Windows)
(for the H8SX, H8S, and H8 families)
- Descriptions of Revision

Supported Devices increased
The following MCUs and MPUs have been added to the support line:
- SH7720 (SH3-DSP core, SuperH RISC engine family)
- SH7146, SH7149, and SH7619 (SH-2 core, the above family)
- SH7124 and SH7125 (SH-Tiny series, the above family)
- H8S/2170 and H8S/2324S (H8S/2000 series, H8S family)

Descriptions in the I/O register definition files* that supports the following devices have been corrected:
