A Note on Using
the E7 Emulator Software V.3.00 Release 00 |
Please take note of the following problem in using the emulator software for the on-chip debugging emulator E7 (HS0007TCU01H):
- On debugging programs for the H8/38347F and H8/38327F MCUs, H8/300L Super Low Power series.
- Product Concerned
E7 emulator software V.3.00 Release 00
- Description
If writes are made to the on-chip flash ROM of the target MCU during debugging programs for the H8/38347F or H8/38327F, incorrect code is written into an address range of F780--F92F.
- Conditions
This problem occurs if an address range including F780 through F92F is used as the user RAM area.
- Workaround
Be sure to use an address range of F930--FF7F as the user RAM area.
- Schedule of Fixing the Problem
We are fixing this problem in the E7 emulator software V.3.00 Release 01, which will be released in late August.
So download the E7 emulator software V.3.00 Release 01 from HERE to update yours.
