A Note on Using
the SuperH RISC Engine Family
C/C++ Compiler Package V.9 |
Please take note of the following problem in using the C/C++ compiler
package for the SuperH RISC engine family of MCUs:
- On displaying an HTML file after installing the product package
- Product and Versions Concerned
Windows edition of the SuperH RISC engine family C/C++ compiler package
V.9.00 Release 02 and later
- Description
Immediately after the compiler package has been installed, normally
the HTML file with a title of "About change of the toolchain name" is
displayed by the browser. However, if your host OS is Windows NT,
the browser cannot be invoked, resulting in the HTML file being not
provided.
- Workaround
Normally the HTML file displayed after installing the compiler package
is located at
InstallDirectory\Support\InstallGuide_E.html
So open this file by the browser.
