A Note on Using
the E7 Emulator Software V.3.00 Release 00 |
Please take note of the following problem in using the emulator software for the E7 on-chip debugging emulator (the E7 emulator is used for the H8/300H Tiny, H8/300H Super Low Power, and H8/300L Super Low Power Series of MCUs):
- On Debugging Programs for the H8/300H Tiny, H8/300H Super Low Power, and H8/300L Super Low Power Series of MCUs
- Product and Version Concerned
The E7 emulator software V.3.00 Release 00
- Problem
The MCU names of the support MCU series (H8/300H Tiny, H8/300H Super Low Power, and H8/300L Super Low Power Series) added to those in V.2.0.01 cannot be displayed in the Device dropdown list in the Select Emulator Mode dialog box.*

To open this dialog box, click the Debug menu name and select the Connect command in the High-performance Embdded Workshop. |
- Condition
This problem occurs if the emulator software V.3.00 Release 00 is installed in the PC where V.2.0.00 or earlier resides.
- Solution
This problem has already been resolved in the emulator software V.3.00 Release 01.
So download the update program from Software Download Site and install it.
