A Note on Using
the High-performance Embedded Workshop
--On Using Jumping Function-- |
Please take note of the following problem in using the High-performance Embedded Workshop, an integrated development workshop:
- On using the jumping function*
| * |
|
This function is performed as follows: |
| |
|
- When an error or warning message appears in the Output window, double-click or right-click the message to open a pop-up menu.
- On this menu, select the Jump command; then the line in the file where the error involved is found will be displayed in the Source window.
|
- Versions Concerned
All the versions of the High-performance Embedded Workshop
- Description
When such many errors have arisen in a build performed by any tool chain included in the product that 1000 or more error messages are provided in the Output window, use of the jumping function results in incorrect files and lines being displayed in the Source window.
- Workaround
If incorrect files and lines are displayed, check the file names and line numbers of the error or warning messages; then display them in the Editor window manually. And, they will be correctly displayed.
- Schedule of Fixing the Problem
We plan to fix this problem in the next release of the product.
