| A Note on Using the Flash Development Toolkit V.3.05 Release 00 |
Please take note of the following problem in using the Flash Development Toolkit V.3.05 Release 00:
- On programming any of the H8/300L Super Low Power series of MCUs
- Product Concerned
The Flash Development Toolkit HS6400FDIW3SR V.3.05 Release 00
- Description
If any of the following MCUs in the H8/300L Super Low Power series are programmed, no program can be written into flash memory and an error message will be displayed:

H8/38324F, H8/38327F, H8/38344F and H8/38347F
In these MCUs, the following error message will be provided:
Error No :16150: Kernel Error Response 0xbf 0x26 |

H8/38124F
In this MCU, the following error message will be provided:
Error No :15018: Unable to locate micro-Kernel |
The other MCUs are not involved in this problem.

For the MCUs in 2-(1)
We provide you with the maintenance release of the toolkit (working sample). So please contact your local Renesas Technology sales office or distributor.

For the MCUs in 2-(2)
Use the H8/38104F MCU instead of the H8/38124F. The former can substitute for the latter. |
- Schedule of Fixing the Problem
We plan to fix this problem in the next release of the product, V.3.05 Release 01, and publish the update program on its Download site (due to be published in the end of January 2006).
We will inform you of the exact date of publication on our tool news.
