The C Compiler Package M3T-NC30WA
Revised to V.5.40 Release 00A |
We have revised the C compiler package M3T-NC30WA from V.5.40 Release 00 to
V.5.40 Release 00A. This compiler package is used for the M16C/60, M16C/30,
M16C/20, M16C/10, M16C/Tiny, and R8C/Tiny series of MCUs.
- Descriptions of Revision
The following problems encountered in the High-performance Embedded
Workshop included with the package have been fixed:
| (1) |
|
On using compile option -R8CE (to be used for greater than 64KB ROM)
by default when any ROM version of the R8C/20, /21, /22, /23, /24,
or /25 MCU is selected out of CPU Group in the New Project wizard.
| Solution: |
|
The compile option -R8C (for 64KB ROM or less) is used
by default except when any MCU having greater than 64KB
ROM is selected (in this case, -R8CE is still used as
the default compile option). |
|
| (2) |
|
On a link error that arises at making a build when the R8C/24 or
R8C/25 MCU (both 32K ROM versions only) as CPU Group is selected
and E8 is selected in the Use OnChip Debugging Emulator list box in
the New Project wizard.
| Solution: |
|
The name of the section whose address is set at linking
has been altered. |
|
NOTICE:
No changes has been made to the C compiler itself though the version
of the compiler package has advanced to V.5.40 Release 00A. So if you
compile programs for any MCUs except the R8C/20--/25, you need not
update your compiler package.
