The H8/300H Tiny Compact Emulator Debugger
Revised to V.1.01 Release 00

We have revised the emulator debugger for the R0E436640CPE00 compact emulator from V.1.00 Release 00 to V.1.01 Release 00. Here the compact emulator is used for the H8/300H Tiny series of MCUs.


  1. Descriptions of Revision
    1.1   The High-performance Embedded Workshop Updated
    The High-performance Embedded Workshop (IDE) included with the debugger package has been updated from V.4.00.01 to V.4.00.03.
    For details of the versions 4.00.02 and 4.00.03 of the IDE, see the following pieces of RENESAS TOOL NEWS:

    (1)   "The High-performance Embedded Workshop, an Integrated Development Environment, Revised to V.4.00.02", issued on July 1, 2005 (05/07/01 TN-1, Document No. RSO-HEW-050701D).
    (2)   "The High-performance Embedded Workshop (an Integrated Development Environment) Revised to V.4.00.03", issued on October 1, 2005 (05/10/01 TN-3, Document No. RSO-HEW-051001D).

    1.2   Problems Fixed
    (1) For the problems resolved in the High-performance Embedded Workshop V.4.00.02 and V.4.00.03, see the pieces of news listed in 1.1 above.
    (2) On downloading object files created by the compiler package for the H8SX, H8S, and H8 families.

  2. How to Update Your Product
    Free-of-charge update of the debugger package is available. If you are using the product, download the installer of the revised one from Download site and execute it.
