Termination of Bundling M16C/60 MCU and Emulation Pod
|
We must inform you that we will no longer bundle the M16C/60 MCU in the M30610T-RPD-E package (for M16C/61 Group).
- Date Effective
We will start this discontinuation from Jan. 1, 1998 production lots .

- Background
The M30610T-RPD-E package is currently shipped with the M16C/61 evaluation MCU mounted on the emulation pod and the M16C/60 evaluation MCU bundled separately in the package.
However, we would like to stop this bundling service as of Jan. 1, 1998, in order to migrate from the M16C/60 group to the M16C /61, M16C/61A groups.
We will individually support each customer that still prefer to use the M16C /60 MCU.
In this case, the user can send us the M30610T-RPD-E emulation pod and we will replace the MCU with the M16C/60, free-of-charge.
We apologize for any inconvience this causes our customers.
