PD45 V.1.10 Release 1

Mitsubishi announces that 4500 series emulator debugger PD45 V.1.00 Release 1 has been upgraded to PD45 V.1.10 Release 1.
Description of Upgrading
PD45 V.1.10 Release 1 is a software product controlling the PC4504 emulator for the Mitsubishi 4500 series of 4-bit microcomputers. This upgraded version introduces the following modifications:
- Functions Added
- Supporting Windows NT 4.0
Windows NT 4.0 is supported as a host OS running on an IBM PC/AT or compatible computer.
- Supporting the reload function of target programs for PD45
This function allows you automatically to reload the target program having been loaded previously.
- Supporting the optimize function of branch instructions at assembling programs
A function is supported to optimize extension codes according to branch destinations of branch instructions ("B" and "BL" instructions) at assembling. As a result of introducing this function, the support of BRANCH, a tool for correcting branch-out errors, is terminated.
- Supporting a new MCU
The data file for a new MCU of M34555M4 is added.
- Limitation Removed
- Data file for M34570M4/M8
The previous version has the limitation that assembling is performed without error messages even if SST instructions are found in a source file (SST instructions are not included in the M34570M4/M8 instruction set). This malfunction is due to erroneous descriptions in data files for M34570M4 and M34570M8 microcomputers. The upgraded version has fixed this limitation.
* Note on using PD45 V.1.00 Release 1 and WDB45 V.1.00 Release 6
PD45 V.1.00 Release 1 and WDB45 V.1.00 Release 6 contain the data file for M34570M4/M8. For the users who intend to use these versions as usual, it is recommended not to describe SST instructions in source files for M34570M4/M8.

When you are using Windows 3.1, install PD45 for Windows 3.1 included in the product disk.
On Supporting Windows 3.1
This release is the last to support Windows 3.1. The next version and the later will support only Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.
