RASM77/NC77WA Upgraded Versions announcements

Mitsubishi announces that relocatable assembler RASM77 and C compiler NC77WA (including assembler and Integrated Tool Manager (TM)) for the 7700 family of microcomputers have been upgraded to the following:

RASM77 V.5.00 Release 1
NC77WA V.5.00 Release 1

Descriptions

Supporting TM (Integrated Tool Manager)
NC77WA V.5.00 supports TM, which controls cross tools with graphical user interfaces (GUI) and provides integrated program development environment.
C Compiler: NC77WA
1. Command option -Wall has been added.
2. The following problems have been fixed.
  - Problem about stk files
  - Problems in reconfiguring standard libraries
  - Problem about option -Werror_files
  - Problem in casting a 32-bit constant to a far pointer
  - Problem about division between two double type variables
  - Problems in using option -OSFA

Assembler: RASM77
1. The precedence of searching for include files has been altered.
2. The following problems have been fixed.
  - Problem in using a '~' operator to an immediate value when '.DATA8' is given.
  - Problem in making entries of 128 or more modules in LIB77
Operating Environment
Windows NT 4.0 is supported.
Publishing Media
All the products of the PC versions of RASM77 and NC77WA will be published in CD-ROMs.

Publishing Information

Owing to this upgrading, the publishing of the NC77 C compiler only is replaced by that of the upgraded NC77WA compiler, so that NC77WA will be supplied if NC77 is ordered. The upgrade from RASM77 to NC77WA is also accepted. Accordingly, the upgrading of NC77 only hereafter covers that of RASM77 without upgrading NC77 and RASM77 independently.
