NC79WA, AS79
English Version Announcement

This is to announce English versions of C compiler NC79WA (with assembler AS79 and integrated tool manager TM) and relocatable assembler AS79 for the 7900 series of microcomputers have been newly released and the Japanese versions have been upgraded. The latest versions are as follows:
- NC79WA V.3.00 Release 1
- AS79 V.3.00 Release 1

For the differences between V.2.00 (Japanese version only) and V.3.00, refer to the following contents.
Descriptions
The summaries of upgrading of these products are as follows:
- TM (Integrated tool manager) supported
NC79WA is get supported by TM from its version.3.00. TM controls cross tools with GUI to integrate program development environment.
- C Compiler NC79
- Command option "-Wall" (displays all of the warning messages) is added.
- Directive #pragma DP[n]DATA is added as an expanded function.
- The following problems are fixed:
- Problem on start-up program
- Problem on MX flag
- Problem on casting 32-bit constants to far pointers
- Problem on environment variables
- Assembler AS79
- The following problem is fixed:
- Problem on structured description instruction "elif"
- Publishing Media
Hereafter the products of NC79WA and AS79 running on personal computers are published in CD-Rs.

- Windows NT 4.0 is supported for IBM PC/AT or compatible
Publishing Information
Owing to this upgrading, the publishing of the NC79 compiler only is replaced by that of the upgraded NC79WA compiler; then, NC79WA will be supplied if upgraded NC79 is ordered. The upgrade from AS79 to NC79WA is also accepted. Accordingly, the upgrading of NC79 only hereafter covers that of AS79 without upgrading NC79 and AS79 individually.
