|
This is to announce that a new line of development support tools used with emulator PC4701 for the 7700 family have been introduced, in addition to the line of those currently used with emulator PC4816 for the same family of microcomputers.
Emulation Pods Used with Emulator PC4701 for 7700 Family
The new products of emulation pods are listed in Table 1 below. They are used in combination with the main unit of emulators PC4701HS and PC4701L for Mitsubishi's 8- and 16-bit microcomputers. Emulator debugger PD77 can also be used in these development support systems.
Table 1. List of Emulation Pods Used with Emulator PC4701 for 7700 Family
| Product Name | Type Name (Ordering Name) |
| Emulation pod for 7702/7703 group | M37702T-RPD-E *1 *2 |
| Emulation pod for 7751 group | M37751T-RPD-E |
| Emulation pod for 7753 group | M37753T-RPD-E |
| Emulation pod for 7754 group | M37754T-RPD-E |
*1. Evaluating the 7703 group MCUs additionally requires the PCA4977E pitch converter board.
*2. In the M37702T-RPD-E pod is mounted the M37702S4 evaluation MCU. So, evaluating any MCU of the 7702/7703 group except the M37702M3, M37702MD, M37702M4, M37702E4, M37702S4, M37703M3, M37703MD, M37702M4, M37703E4 and M37703S4 MCUs requires MCU board kit M37702T-RPDM for the 7702/7703 group additionally.
MCU Board Kits Used with Emulator PC4701 for 7700 Family
The new products of MCU board kits are listed in Table 2 below. Each MCU board kit comes with MCU boards on which an evaluation MCU needed to evaluate the target MCUs of the group is mounted, as well as an instruction manual (the number of boards included varies with the group).
Replacing the MCU board inside emulation pod M37702T-RPD-E (for the 7702/7703 group) or M37751T-RPD-E (for the 7751 group) with the one included in an MCU board kit enables you to evaluate a target system belonging to another group.
Note that two emulation pods M37702T-RPD-E (for the 7702/7703 group) and M37751T-RPD-E (for the 7751 group) only are allowed to replace its MCU board each (the other emulation pods cannot be allowed to do so).
Table 2. List of MCU Board Kits Used with Emulator PC4701 for 7700 Family
| Product Name | Type Name (Ordering Name) |
| MCU board kit for 7702/7703 group | M37702T-RPDM *1 |
| MCU board kit for 7704/7705 group | M37704T-RPDM *2 |
| MCU board kit for 7710 group | M37710T-RPDM |
| MCU board kit for 7712 group | M37712T-RPDM |
| MCU board kit for 7733/7735 group | M37735T-RPDM |
| MCU board kit for 7751 group | M37751T-RPDM |
*1. Evaluating the 7703 group MCUs additionally requires the PCA4977E pitch converter board.
*2. Evaluating the 7705 group MCUs additionally requires the PCA4978 pitch converter board.
