This is to announce that load module converter LMC30, which is included both in C compiler NC30WA and assembler AS30 for the M16C/60 and M16C/20 series of microcomputers, has been upgraded.
Aim of Upgrading
This upgrading aims at providing LMC30 with a function of protecting ROM of the M16C/60 and M16C/20 series MCUs. Therefore, the upgrading is not needed if you don't use the ROM protect function.
Descriptions of Upgrading
- ROM code protect function is supported
Protect information needed for the ROM code protect function can be created in the absolute module file.
- Command option(s) for outputting protect information is provided
ID code checking and level setting functions are available.
