Free-Of-Charge Upgrade Service Announcement

This is to announce that free-of-charge upgrade service is available to specifically produced emulation pod M30200T-RPD (Specific Product) for the M16C/20 series of microcomputers.
Products Involved
The free-of-charge upgrade service is applicable to the specific products of the M30200T-RPD emulation pod purchased during the period from September to December 1998. Note that the products specially shipped as engineering samples to be lent at no charge (ES TOOL) are excluded from this service. All the products that have been manufactured since November 1998 need not be upgraded.
Description of Upgrading
The specifically produced probe of your pod will be replaced with a currently produced one (a production-run MCU mounted).
How To Upgrade
- Please copy and fill in the "Application Form for Upgrading M30200T-RPD (Specific Product)" and send it together with your pod to your local Renesas Technology sales office or distributor. We will upgrade your pod without charge.
- To upgrade your product, it will take about 10 working days after receiving it.
Expiration Date of Upgrading
Your product is acceptable until May 31, 1999. If circumstances prevent you from sending it until the above date, please contact us in advance.
