This is to announce that the products of real-time OS MR32R for the M32R family of microcomputers have been upgraded to the following versions:
Real-Time OS Development Kit: MR32RK V.3.00 Release 1
Real-Time OS Mass Production Contract: MR32RS V.3.00 Release 1
Descriptions of Upgrading
- The following functions have been introduced:
- Message buffer function
- Rendezvous function
- Forced exception function
- Dynamic creation and deletion functions of OS resources
- Waiting state for gaining memory pool
- A group of areas for using resources of OS can be mapped both in internal and external RAM.
For instance, each group of mailbox areas, message buffer areas, and variable length memory pool areas can be partitioned to map both in internal and external RAM. Also, stack areas and fixed length memory pool areas that are used by tasks will be mapped the same way by giving each of them an independent section name.
- When a system call that is defined as unused in the configuration file is issued, the dummy function named "_SYS_DUMMY" is called.
- The vector areas storing jump addresses of the interrupt handler have become an independent section.
