Please take note of the following problem in using simulator debugger PD79SIM (Windows version) for the 7900 series of microcomputers.
Description
PD79SIM does not support real-time OS MR79 V.2.00 Release 1 for the 7900 series of 16-bit microcomputers published on April 1, 1999. Note that, accordingly, when target programs created with the above-mentioned version of MR79 are debugged by PD79SIM, the following debug functions cannot be used:
- MR window
- MR commands
However, debug functions for the real-time OS can be used when target programs created with the following versions of MR79 are debugged:
- MR79 V.1.00 Release 1
- MR79 V.1.10 Release 1
Schedule of Fixing Problem
We plan to support MR79 V.2.00 Release 1 in our next release.
