Announcement

This is to announce the issuance of new emulator PC4701M for the M16C and 7700 families of 16-bit and the 740 family of 8-bit microcomputers.


Features of New Product
PC4701M provides the following features:
  1. PC4701M is compactly designed by having its power supply unit built into its case, as well as it provides the same performance and function as PC4701HS.

  2. The LPT parallel interface achieves high-speed communication equivalent to a dedicated parallel interface. It allows notebook PCs also to perform high-speed communication. However, a dedicated parallel interface and a LAN interface are not be supported.

  3. The previously used emulation pod for PC4701 remains serviceable.

  4. The license of emulator debugger PDxx is bundled.
    The most recent version of the product can be downloaded without charge.

On LTP Parallel Interface
When the LTP parallel interface is used as communications interface of PC4701M, some types of PCs may not start correctly since this interface is designed in conformance with the IEEE standard 1284:1994. In such a case, please switch to a serial interface.
